Okay folks, ready for a good chuckle? I bought a new camera and I have taken pictures for years, but I really like p/s. So my new camera is a KODAK Z1015 IS. Nothing difficult, I don't have to focus, that's the hardest part for me. I really like it, had a Kodak DX6490 and it was good for a while, but it only has 4MP. The pictures looked grainy when I would try to enlarge them, etc.
But there are lots of goodies with this one and I think it's a keeper.
I had a request, it had to have a good macro lens, and I can get up to 1 1/2 to 2 inches away from my subjects, which are usually floral or butterflies. The zoom is 15 optical and 10 mp.
I have read alot about what you folks like and I know Nikon is a favorite here, but the Nikon D60 is 6MP, and I can't afford a expensive one and go higher than that. So have a good chuckle, I don't mind.
But as soon as I can post some pictures, I will.
