New Camera

Im sure this question has been asked before but Im looking to buy a decent beginner camera. It has to be at the 250 dollar range. Does anybody have any recomendations? or is 250 not enough?

If your looking for a point and shoot its enough. It depends what your looking to do. If you want quality macro shots your way out of your price range. You might also want to look for used cameras as a beginner. You can get a basic used DSLR for $250

Ok thanks I will look for a used one, that is what I was thinking.

Don't forget about lenses if you go the DSLR route. For $250, the body alone is going to be something a couple generations back. You can buy lenses used as well (or the used camera may very well come with one), but unlike the camera most lenses hold their value pretty well, so I'd count on spending at least another $100 there. For your price range, something like a Canon G-series might be a good option as well. You'd still be looking at used, though.
