I have a 4" Blue Maxima coming tommorow from Clams Direct, but I just checked my Calcium last night and its 700 My Alk is low but I'm waiting for my Salifert kit to come in because the Alk kit I have just goes by colors not numbers. I changed 20gals of water 3 days ago with RO/DI and IO salt. I don't add kalk or anything else so why is my numbers so High? I use Seatest calcium kits but I'm changing to salifert kits for that also. I talked to Barry at Clams direct and he said he keeps his clams at Calcium 380-420, and Alk around 9.5. He told me to just acclimate the clam slowly. I have SPS and LPS corals that should be sucking up the calcium? Do you guys think it might be my test kit
