New Clam ID please

Hi I bought a new Clam and would be happy if you guys can help me ID it. I also will appreciate any comments on the health. I had 520W PC and it is 10inch to surface and ~20 inch to the light. I am adding zooplex, and chromaplex (from kent marine) at least once a week and Reef Plankton or ocean plankton once every two weeks. Any other suggestions.

its a Crocea. they have the highest lighting needs of all the clams.

cromaplex and zooplex wont do anything for the clam

So you think the PC would not be enough? I read few forums about it recently. Do you think the 520W would be ok or not. Should I place it higher?

Yeah, it's a Crocea. Looking at its size (4-5" ?), it doesn't really need the supplement food, but I guess it won't hurt either. And yes, you'll need to put it closer your light, esp. if you want it to color up a little bit (right now it looks too brown to me, but it could be just the angle).

I think it is the angle if I look from top it looks much colorful. There are so many posts saying it is almost impossible with PC to keep it alive, is that right? I learned it after I bought and of course the owner of the store said it would be fine. And I was not sure about the ID. Hope I can keep her alive. I thought 520W would be enough but I know it is not the watt but the intensity and MH is much better. I might upgrade to MH soon who knows, I don't want to kill it.
