New clam pics

Small aqua cultured 1.75" long Maxima.
When I first saw it, I thought it was baby crocea. But the flutes on the shell give it away.

The first clam I ever got. It was a mere 1.25" long. A rescue from a reefer that was shutting down his tank. There was a couple times I thought it was a gonner. Now at 3" Maxima.

That first one really might be a cross. A friend of mine once found a beautiful Gigas Derasa cross @ wholesale.

I would guess the first one actually is a crocea.

Yes, after much investigation, the unanimous decision is Crocea.
Small aqua cultured crocea's can have large scutes just like the maxima's.
