new clam

i live in the uk and t have an aquarium 49x18x18 with a 150 mh light will this be enougph lighting for the clam one of the blue ones forget the nane

@ 18" depth, 150 w MH seems reasonable for a maxima and maybe a crocea (both have blue variants) if placed higher up in the rock work. Both are burrowing clams and prefer rock work placement opposed to placement in the substrate, in lower flow areas

I would prefer more than a 150.
the 150 doesn't have much punch.
worse comes to worse, move it up on the rocks
