Two things: Here is a picture of my new Squamosa. I just got it yesterday.


I also noticed a small "pastacio" looking clam. Does anyone have an idea of waht it is? It is about 1/2"

Nice squammy - looks like it has blue spots, if so, very cooL.. i got one similiar to urs but isn't as dark brown. mine also has a hitchhiker clam. they don't do any harm and are fine to have.

what kinda lights are you keeping it under?

The tank is a 20H and I have it under 130 watts PC lighting. Do you think that is adequate?

probably might want to put it higher up on rocks but it will attach so you might want to put it on a shell or something. It is a lower light clam. I have 130 watts on 28 gallon tank and have been looking for one of these. let me know how it goes so I can decide

when you say put it on a shell, do you mean so I can move it later??

yea so you can move it if you want easily, cause if it attaches to a big peace of rock it will be harder to deal with.
