New Clam!!!

First off I just want to say that Scott at exotic is a straight up "G" He is probably the nicest guy and you can tell he cares about the success of all his livestock.

I picked up this clam today from him.....thanks chris (reefkoi) for tellin me about how nice it was!!!!...and its awesome.

This is my first clam so im hoping for the best. I got some live phyto from him and i dose Tropic Marin Bio-Calcium on a regular basis!

This pic doesnt do the neon colors justice. Its completely metallic and green and has some sweet markings!

I told you didn't I? I just saw this clam a couple hours ago down at Scotts I can't believe its already in your tank and on Reef Central. It is better looking in person too you are right.
I think the balla better let some change loose to keep up with you.

thanks murf. Yea i love it. Im going to have three croceas in a little "clam lagoon!!!" so the second should be in there later this week.

O and butch i think your the balla and you need to spend some paper you cheap ***!!! jk man.

I already see kevin having a good addiction starting here so i dont think it will be too long before he starts dropin some good change into his tank!

yea im definitly going to check out his selection there on thursday! hopefully he will have some pretty nice ones! like you said he definitly has scored some good lookin clams lately! Not just clams but other stuff too! He has some sweet acros and a nice rainbow monti that we should all go in on and frag it up!!!!!!

if i had money i would would get a bigger tank like a 1000 gal but ill stick with my ballin 6 gal.....no biggie....

when i get a job ill start dropping some change but for now ill just keep it a hermit crab tank lol lol in the long run i might put a naso tang in there also but we will see...

anyone have a job opening?? lol lol

hey chris ill come clean your tank for you every two days or so for some $$$.....

i guess ill just have to get a clam now lol since they are the hit lol

And as far as the clams, by the time you get some they'll be old news, we'll be onto something else, you need to get with the program here buddy.

I am surprised nobody has bought that rainbow and fragged it, the blue is really starting to come through, I know Scott probably hopes nobody will buy it so he can keep it for his show tank.

um yeah somewhat, they arent usually closed tight but they do pull the mantle in most of the way, even if they were closed tight that would be o.k.
what you need to worry about is when a clam stays wide open, gaping and wont close thats when they are toast
