I've had my maxima for a week now. I just set it on the sand, got more corals and to make room I tried to move it and it's has seated already. I'm assuming it likes its position in the tank. If I ever need to move it, how would I?
I assume you have a shallow sand bed and no rock beneath the sand and the glass. If you had to move it, I would think you can scrape the foot/bissel threads (sp) off the glass that it's attached to.
Fortunately/Unfortunately my golden Maxima never had a strong footing or doesn't attach to any thing (rock or sand) yet it's grown twice it's size in about 10 months.
