new clown problems

I bought "a pair" of Alard's clowns, I think, from Pet's inc yesterday. When I got them into the tank the female went straigt to the heliofungi like I hoped it would then she started to "charge" the "male". I didn't worry, I thought from everything that I read that she was acerting her dominance and that he would eventually submit. When I got home from work today the female(larger one) was on the other side of the tank and a little "roughed up" and now the "male" is acting very territorial with the plate coral I think he ,for some reason is or is on his way to becoming a female and he kicked her but and drove her away. now I have a problem I have two females of what I think is a fairly rare variety of clown can someone help me out?

post pics and more info about their sizes. It would be a little unusual to end up with 2 female allardi as they are usually taken together.

As long as they are not actively fighting I would let them be a little while. If one them gets very stressed and is completely cowed into a very small place but still refuses to submit or if it is breathing heavily and/or gaping at the surface I'd pull it. They can take a fair amount of abuse during pairing as long as they keep eating well. I'd give it aleast a week unless it looks like one's life is in danger.
