new clownfish added to tank

does it take time for them to decide what to host?? i have a rose bubble tip that i want them to host but they dont really go near, will they in time?

Maybe, there are no guarantees with clowns and what they choose to have host them.

Or also sometimes minutes, sometimes never. All clowns are different.

Mind, these are not purposely evasive answers. There is no time frame for when and if a clown will host something.
 
My pair of black false percs took about a week to host a new Crispa anem. They had been in the tank 8mos prior to my introducing the anem.
