I got a clownfish not too long ago from the lfs that I work at. Had him for about 3 days, I put a pound of live rock in the tank to help coraline algae growth and I went to sleep and qoke up this morning and it looks like he has ich. He is swimming towards the top, loosing colors and breathing hard, and not eating. When I tried feeding him I put some garlic and ginger with the food. But I froze it first then let it thaw but when I put it in he did not eat. He is looking like.. Maybe you could say an "old" clownfish! PLEASE HELP

Have you checked your water parameters plus did you aclimate him? Could be shock and just a partial water change could do wonders. Does he have visible signs on his body of ich? If so go ahead and quarantine and start treatment for ich.

I did acclimate him good, I did 20min temp acclamation the 1 hr drip acclimation. He does have some visible signs of ich. I don't have a quarantine tank, It started about 7 hours after I put the live rock in the tank.

if its related to the piece of rock it is prob not ich..

I would check everything and be sure you have a lot of surface agitation in the water.

I do have a lot of agitation. My salinity is 2.25 Ill get my water tested tomorrow. It is some type of white growth on the fish, what do you think it could be?

How long since the end of cycle of the tank before you put the fish in? It should have taken about 4 weeks.
Do not put another fish into this tank until 72 days since the end of ich.

If 2.25 is correct, that's double what it should be.
This^ I hope thats a typo and you have 1.025. If not you need to start a drip acclimation for them in a separate container and once its lowered go ahead and do a large water change aroind 50% with fresh water to bring that salinity down before you bring the livestock back into your DT, an all around water quality test before the transfer wouldnt be a bad idea either to make sure everything is in check.
