New clownfish question

I just purchased a new false percula clownfish yesterday and put him in my newly cycled 29 gal. All he is doing is is sitting on the bottom in the corner of the tank. I put a little ball of dry formula one in but he spit it out. All my water paramaters are good. I've checked them everyday for the past week to make sure my cycle was done. Is he okay and just getting used to the new surrondings or should I be worried? Thanks.

He is just in one corner of the tank. He isn't swimming along the bottom but just swimming in the corner of the tank. I think maybe he is making a little depression in the sand. Is he just hosting in the corner?

Give your clown a few days or weeks, once it get used to your tank it'll swim around the tank. I have expwrienced that with some of my clowns.

I agree with Raleej. I just put a false perc as my first fish and days 1-3 he was sitting inside a large conch shell I have in the tank.
I'm now on day 7 and he's made a speedway out of my tank. He's all over the place, eats like a hog, and literally does laps around the tank sometimes. He even plays in the flow created by my powerheads.
Give yours a little time.

Hi

yes give them time, i had one false clown that hide behind the heater for 3 weeks. And now eating and swimming fine.

It could be a minute or it could be weeks. Depends on personality.
