New clownfish - treating and identifying disease/parasites

I recently got into the hobby. I have a 10 gallon witha HOB filter and 2 clownfish. They've been in that QT for a week now and have been showing signs of illness.

I have identified thread worms and will begin treatment in a day or two as they didn't eat for the first 2 or 3 days. I understand prazipro is what I will need and I can look up more specific instructions so this is not really a concern. If something sounds wrong here let me know.

The other concern I have is that they open and close their mouths rapidly. It seems to me they are breathing heavy but I don't know if thats actually what it is or if the mouth movement is just normal. They do not gasp at the surface for air.

LFS says 2-4 weeks for QT, I read upwards of 8 weeks online. That leads me to ask how long does it take to show symptoms of disease? Brooklynella is on my mind as I've read clownfish are very prone to it but what I can't seem to find is how long it would take for them to show symptoms of it.

sg 1.021
ph 7.8 - 8.0 (shades on the test kit are hard to differentiate)
ammonia 0.10-0.25ppm (it looks to be a darker shade than 0 but lighter than or equal to 0.25)
nitrites 0ppm
nitrates 0ppm

I've been using 'aquavitro seed' from the start as the tank was set up the same day the fish were put in. I've also been testing the water and doing water changes of 10-20% daily. All parameters have remained the same throughout the week. Should I bother with something like ammo-lock or let the aquavitro seed work? It says on the bottle it's safe to add fish immediately if you keep up a daily dose which I have been doing. How long should it take to see some of that ammonia turn to nitrites/nitrates? I expected to see something greater than 0 on nitrites/nitrates after a few a days but that hasn't been the case.

The link has a diagnosis section in it that you may find useful as well as other useful info. There are other stickies in the fish disease forum where the link came from.

FWIW I do tank transfer method (TTM) followed by 4-5 weeks in the QT for observation. I also do 2 rounds of prazi.

It may be possible the clowns also have flukes, prazi will take care of that as well. Good luck
