New clowns question

Got 2 new small clowns the other day. Since putting them in they haven't moved from the top corner of my tank near the heater. They don't seem to be eating either. Wondering what if anything i should do?

They're probably just a bit stressed from the transport, new tank, different water ect. Just give them a few days and try to entice them with different foods such as mysis shrimp. The concern comes when they don't start eating after a couple of days and start looking lethargic. Good luck though!

Hey I got 2 new clowns too. When I first got them they were hiding in the top corner now their swimming all over the place and would sometimes go back to his spot in the tank. They weren't eating that much in the beginning, maybe 2-3 pellets per meal, now, they eating like a pigs :D

From peoples experience, If you get 2 small juvenile clowns, it will take a few years before they pair up and start hatching eggs.

I plan on getting a pair of tank bred occys. I worry about the female laying eggs and me not being able to raise the larvae.

Most cases, you cant. They just become a snack for the night owls lol. Baby clowns need alot of care for the first few days and food is a major factor to keep them alive, most people dont have the time to raise their own food. A local guy here has been breeding clowns forever and puts sooo much time almost more time into hatching brine shrimp then he does caring for the babies
