New conductivity probe question

I got a conductivity probe as a christmas present. I just hooked it up and the reading is 41.2. That's a little low. My S.G. is 1.024 measured with a refractometer. Does it take a while for the probe to read correctly?
I read the instructions for calibration in the ACIII Pro manual but it doesn't mention what solution to use. What solution is it and where do I get it?
