IF ANYONE WOULD LIKE THIS COLONY THEY CAN HAVE IT FOR $40

Has anyone seen a plate this peach color, its not red or pink. I got it at the frag show last year

i see redbugs on that roscoes. and same with the pearlberry but i can only find 2 on the pearlberry.

I see the red bugs too, how long have you had those frags? Does that stag coral have them too?

Ahh no biggie just get them in some interceptor.
I'd treat them 3 times every 5 to 10 days.
They'll be good as new in a a few weeks or so after.

Those two new ones are purdy. BTW.

Red bugs are not to be takin lightly, interceptor kills a ton of stuff in your tank. If you like crabs, shrimp pods and such...red bugs rank up as one of the worst bugs you can get.

Plus Interceptor is not the easiest thing to go out and get.

Does TM Pro Coral Cure work on redbugs if they are dipped before they go into the tank or is that one of the pests that can survive it?

TM Pro coral cure will stun the red bugs so you can shack them off with a power head. You will also have to use a little more TMPCC in your dip then is recommended.

I can't see them on my monitor either (good one is gathering dust in office that is currently being used as a junk room) but I have the coral that is in picture number 3 and last year when it had redbugs it had the funky coloration like that one has. So I'd bet that's the one. My version of that coral has changed to a tad darker without the washed out appearance after treating the tank 3x's with interceptor.

#2 has what i guess are redbugs, darkest tip, near the top, right in the middle.

there are more but those are the easiest to point out.

after i saw your pics i went and checked some of my frags and found a few lil buggers.

steve where did your frags come from?

i went to my vet and she gave me 3 large and 4 small pills, I figure I will treat the tank with the large pills and use the smalls for dips in the future, im also going to order some revive to make sure i am ready for AEFW


if you want to avoid treating the tank, ive heard aligator pipefish eat red bugs
