new corals

just got this guy yesterday. the mother colony started going bad when my buddy got it in he's a LFS. so he fragged the heck out of it and kept the frags for 2-4wks. they colored up from brownish purple to bright blue in spots! will color up more i hop

also got a greenish table. it started RTN too and he fragged it and the frags have been doing well

just a few other shots of some old corals

Tryree LE soli got from Travis

a yellow w/ purple polyp tort(?) that i don't get many pics of. it's coloring up more and more

plreef - that pink coral is a prostrata...very very close to a milli.

hey lunch, I now see why you have such distain for hydroids....those buggers spread all over huh. Hope you can figure out a way to get rid of em. You figure there is a nudibranch for everything else...there must be one that eats those.

Kurt - yeah i really really do hate them! ONLY good thing is that they don't sting my SPS...if they did i'd be a world of hurt. there is a nudi possibly...i remember reading a blurb about them in the "bibles" of reef keeping one of the volumes of the reef aquarium about something. i'll look it up again....didn't sound to promising though
