Brought him home, aclimated, placed him in the sand and he opened right up. Today however he is not opening much at all and not showing any mattle. It has only been a day, should I worry. I am running dual 250W halides on a 90 bow, he is at the bottom 24". At the LSF he was under 260W lighting about 10" deep. Looking for sugestions. He is not slammed closed but he is not open either. He looked so good yesterday.

Should be in the sand or on the rock in the tank?

Parameters are in specification and everythoing else in the tank is doing great. Tons of coral. I will put him on a rock. He was in the sand at the LFS but my sand is quite coarse and filled with alot of shells and such. Also have a ton of critters he may need to get used to.

they have threads that will come out on the bottom of him to attach... there is a "Whole" in the bottom of him.. that is where they come from

Thanks for the help guys. Lets see how he does in his new position. He is reactive to things swimming by ect. Perhaps some time. Was planning a water change today. Should I hold off as not to add another shock?

Well he fell from th enew rock. He is on a new rock but at the bottom of the tank. May have seen the issue. My bi-color angle is paying alot of attention to this clam. I hope he is not picking at it. I am watching closely.
