New Deep Dimensions 250 gallon system height

I think I'm going to upgrade to either the 250 or the 300. I think the matched cabinetry is really nice, but the stand is only 29" tall (kinda low imo).

What do others think?

I may just build a footing underneath and then put the stand on that. Has anyone done something like this?

Well, you lose that nice factory warranty if you don't purchase their stand... you can always add some support to it...

With the 'deep dimension' I don't mind the lower height of the tank.

He is talking about the stand height I believe. I have also had the same question. About building a 6" or so tall box..then sit the factory stand on that....

I was thinking of using 2x12" for a foot of extra height.
