New doser user. Questions.

Hi, just got a 3 pump doser. I will be dosing calcium and alk. Need some advice:
1 where do you put check valve? Is it best to keep at the end going to the tank?
2. I'm using a bottle to hold the alk. Do you need to shake the alk and how or is it OK to use it without shaking?

1) As far as the check valve, i don't use them on my lines, as the actual doser itself has pressure on the line....

2) my ESV alk i need to add RODI and let dissolve.... if its clumpy it may need to be warmed to fully dissolved... read the directions!

start with small doses and test every day for 7 days...
