New driver feed mode timer?

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone might know of a way, or if Ecotech might consider some sort of add on timer system to the new wave driver.

What I am trying to do is coordinate my automatic feeder to the vortech feed mode.

So is there anyway to program the vortech to go into the feed mode at a certain time? I bet not but who knows so I thought I would ask.

That sounds pretty high tech. What you could do is put the vortecs on a timer and have the timer turn them off when the feeder is on. say have the timer turn the vortecs off for 15 minutes twice a day and be on the other 23 hours and 30 minutes.

At this time there's no way to accomplish what you are suggesting beyond what Fuppets has suggested. Turning the pumps off on a timer controlled by an aqua controller once a day won't harm anything.

Actually this would be a problem for me since I have the battery back up. Do you know of a way to get around this?

disconnect the pumps from the battery =P

disconnect it while you feed. then reconnect it after. it's not that difficult?

This is simple enough but the whole point is for it to work automatically when I am not there...

i don't think there's a solution for that then... you'll probably have to feed by hand and wait or watch your fish chase food for awhile =X
