New duties...A big Thanks to Robert!

Folks, I wanted to start a post letting you know, Robert has decided to give up his day to day role in the club. His schedule is becomming very demanding to keep up with the demands of the reef club.

Over the last three+ years Robert and I have worked closely together to build this club into what it has become today. He was instrumental in getting us set up with RC, as well as coordinating meetings, doing the membership cards, and many other aspects that many have overlooked and taken for granted. He put many hours into making sure we have a viable semi organized effort, in which the members of this club have a local outlet for discussion, comradary, and learning. His efforts will be sorely miissed, and I'm sure there will be some fall off in effective communication until we find someone to fulfill his role. Please join me on thanking Robert for a job well done, and for helping make the club the success it has become.

With all of this said, right now we are looking for a volunteer to take on the responsibilities Robert was engaged in. Eric has stepped up and offered his services but we probably need one more person to become involved (besides he may become more involved with another position in coming months), perhaps even splitting up Roberts duties amongst two people. I have a couple of people in mind, but I would ask that if you are interested, please send me a PM letting me know. If I have to, I will call upon those I have in mind, but in the meantime I want to gauge interest so we are not dumping on someone who may not have the time.

Sorry to see Robert give up his duties. He has been a driving force with us. Thank you for your diligent efforts and just want to make sure you still go to meetings. You don't get off that easily!.

This really saddens me as Robert is a very knowledgable reefer and a good friend. I am more than happy to help in any way I can, but would like to keep the core members together. These members are what has made this club what it is today, in only a year.

Thanks for all the hard work Robert, you're the one that told me about the club in the first place and have been a great source of information. Sorry to see you go.

Hey Robert! Thanks for all the hard work you have given to help the club. You did a great job my friend! I still hope to see you in meetings since your knowledge in reefing you share is valuable. Again, thanks Robert!

Thanks for everything Robert!!! You will certainly be leaving some big shoes behind and I will greatly miss your energy and dedication to our cause. Hope to continue to see you at the meetings! :)
