I've had mine for almost a year...its been in all conditions but to truly enjoy this coral...low gentle flow is best. Mine was moved to a hover flow area...all tenticles are fully extended I just don't see the nice green as much since its hidden by the swaying tenticles.
Feed it every so often...at first it may not have a quick response but over time you will see it really move quickly to bring.food to the mouths.
Mine is in a High flow area, and loves it and I actual never really have feed mine. But then again every coral is different and no 2 are alike. I have had mine for 5 years.
You have some really pretty corals. I would dose some red slime remover and brighten up that sandbed. Not to say the slime is indicative of too poor of water quality but doing some big water changes and bringing the nutrients down will reduce the algae and give the elegance that much of a better chance as well.
