New Elos system mini owner; first timer!

Do I need to invest in a timer for the lights? It appears a good bit of people do in fact have a timer setup in their system.

Well my E-lite and other pieces arrived from Chris at EA. I picked them up today so now I can start my TANK!!!

I will get some pictures up etc, but man this lite is just badass!!!

no worries, I have a Elos tank too and I cut the tubing to the exact heights i needed

beautiful setup, thanks for sharing all the pictures. Is there a place to stick all those electrical cords/plugs to get them off the floor? Or are you just going to get creative?

Yes I just put all of those there quickly for the pictures. I will neaten them up and push them to the back so they are not noticeable when the door is open. I have to clean the glass etc.

I got my salt and water this evening so I will be doing the water tomorrow.

Do you have any specs on the LED light? What kind of corals will you be able to keep under it?

Do you have the ability to adjust the bottom shelf lower? It appears there are slots so you can lower it just above the top of the bottom door hinge? I gotta figure out how to get my nano calcium reactor and 2lb Co2 bottle in there..

Are you going to use the stock pump? Can you fit a larger Eheim in the sump?

The bottom shelf cannot be moved according to how it looks and how it is put together.

I am using both the stock pumps. There is some room left in the pump area but I am not sure how much large a pump you are talking about when compared to these stock compact Eheim's.

Todd, does the moonilight produce a shimmer like an LED moonlight does? I read that you can adjust the intensity of it?

Robster - you are correct, there is a little dial on the power brick that you can adjust about 5 different levels of intensity.
