This past weekend I caught the first tropical (spotfin butterfly) of the season on the south shore of LI. About a month early. Going to be interesting tropical season.
Several years ago the Southampton town trustees in their "infinite wisdom" let the clammers power dredge in the sea grass bed there :uzi: Devastated that wonderful sea grass bed, and it still hasn't recovered
My 13 yr old niece setup a tank of just fish, crabs and snails from the LI sound in CT. It has worked out very well for her, and has been a great learning experience for her.
