New false perc wont eat

I got a new false perc on sat, acclimated for over an hr, let into its new nano, great healthy looking and very active but wont eat flake (prime reef/formula 2) its 2 days now and I havent seen it it the flakes, they will float right by and it just looks at em... ???


how can I entice this little one?

Was it eating at the LFS?

Some people try to add a little garlic juice (Garlic Extreme) to flke food to get them to eat.

Live brine shrimp usually get them eating.

Some clowns are picky. Mine never eats flake Cyclopeeze. But will eat Formula 1 and frozen and pellets.

It took my false percs a couple days to adjust to my tank before they would start eating too. Give them a few days. Now mine come up to the top whenever I lift the lid begging for food.

I made up a small mix of frozen/flake/garlic/cyclopeez ... I didnt see him eat a bit, I added a new false perc a bit ago, and he ate 2 flakes of food gladly, the other just looked. ???

Whats up with the lil guy? hasnt ate (from what I've seen) since I've added him saturday... Looks healthy though...

Why wont it eat ???

I bought the other hoping they will pair up and maybe she can help him figure it out...

I just fed both of my tanks (72gal and 10 gal) cyclopeeze with a pinch of home made frozen and a pinch of blood worms.. put in my 72 gal 3/4 of the batch made, EVERYTHING GOES SUPER NUTS !!

Put some in my 10 gallon, my new false perc goes nuts, the one that isnt eating just hovers in the corner ...

What is wrong with that fish? it hasnt ate since I've got it (saturday) I dripped some marine c and zoecon in there...

It looks healthy as anything still, just stays in the corner all day while the other hovers all around... ???

it died some time today.. I came home and it was a sunken mate...

my other perc is happy to see me though, so I gave him some cyclopeeze and he's been doing circles, lol

Guess I'll buy another false perc to try the pair thing hopefully it'll eat like the new gal is ..
