If water perameters are good they should instinctively come out after the lights go off. You can "train" them by feeding the tank with some phyto,roti's, or cyclopeeze, this can spark there interest to send out there tenticles. At that time you can also spot feed chopped krill, or thawed whole mysis shrimp. Although feeding wont be necessary, it will only promote faster growth. thats what I was thinking as well, out of curiosity (I know all about metal hallide, but never looked into T5) how much would an adequate T5 system cost for this tank? Its 20"l x 20.75"w x 19.25" h.
