how do you feel about the placement in the tank?

I have stock biocube pcs its only 36 watt 10,000K's nad one 36 watt actinic so I didn't think being that high would be any harm to it

If water perameters are good they should instinctively come out after the lights go off. You can "train" them by feeding the tank with some phyto, roti's, or cyclopeeze, this can spark there interest to send out there tenticles. At that time you can also spot feed chopped krill, or thawed whole mysis shrimp. Although feeding wont be necessary, it will only promote faster growth. Try looking up Favia speciosa, or go through the different montastrea corals to try and find an id, definately one of the two. Try here:

Fine until you get some stronger lighting, if you do then Id drop it down. To the bottom or partly shaded up high if you use T5.

thats what I was thinking as well, out of curiosity (I know all about metal hallide, but never looked into T5) how much would an adequate T5 system cost for this tank? Its 20"l x 20.75"w x 19.25" h.
