New fire shrimp just took out my electric blue hermit

Well.... I just added 2 fire shimp to my tank. In less than 48 hours, they kicked 2 of my skunk shrimp out of their cave, one of them just molted this morning...and the other must have gone rogue, and just took out my medium sized electric blue hermit crab. Wow!!

First off....I didn't think the fire shrimp were that aggressive, and still can't believe it took down my beautiful hermit. Has anyone ever seen this type of aggression with the fire shrimp??

I doubt it harmed your hermit crab but the cleaners getting kicked out of their cave is definitly expected.

How big is the tank? My fire and cleaners surprisingly get along very well having their own overhangs.

Right now....I only have a CUC with only I inverts....no fish. Tank is a 65g.

They can be rude. Pretty sure mine has killed other shrimp.
