A few days ago, I got a Midas blenny. The first day it was hiding, but second day it was up and around and ate well, and the fish is doing great. But I noticed that it always like to swim up around at the top. Sometimes it like to swim in the middle of the tank. The fish does not look ill. The fish is healthy, but looks around near the surface of the water as if it were looking for food. I do feed it up at the surface. The fish also regulary perches up on the top of a suction cup of a thermometer. Is the fish acting normal? It might be the fish's nature. I also want to add that the fish does not gasp for breath, or try to jump out, just sticks its head out of the water.
