new fish in QT (need an answer)

well for the first time in my entire time in fish keeping ive aquired a QT tank setup. but here is my issue
the friend i got the QT from had a disaster and lost all his fish except one (trigger) the losses occurred after adding a un QT fish to his main tank... all fish developed a desease real quick and quickly died. he tried hypo copper prazi and crypto but nothing saved them this is the last remaining fish. it has been in QT for about 2 months and has never developed what ever ailment the others had. thinking it might have been bacterial.

now here is the question. what do i do with this fish. run another round of treatments? add a full spectrum antibiotic? or add to tank. dont want to rush anything i dont want to move the desease to my tank if he is a carrier but a 40 breeder is no life for this fish either and he has been in QT for 2 months now at my friends the desease they got was quick acting and spead withing days and killed everythign ove rthe course of a week or two

any help appreciated this is a nice fish (red tail trigger) and hate to lose it but i really dont want to lose my fish in my 220 either
I do plan on leaving it in the QT for the time being not looking for a quick fix here after the move today i want to see if the stress causes any issues that were unseen. so id say im looking at a min 2 week QT or more if issues develop

+1 Dips do nothing for ich and it sure looks like this fish had/has it.

well its been thru treatments heck was in copper over a month im not concerned about it beign ick or velvet or any of those as it has never shown signs /symptoms and its been alone for over a month since the rest of the fish passed. im jsut wondering if it was bacterial coudl it jsut be immune and a carrier
this fish has been in hypo, prazipro, crypto pro and copper treatments since may as my friend was tryign to save as many fish as he could this is the only one that never showed signs and survived.. if bacterial would any of those treatments help or should i add an antibiotic destroyig my cycle in the QT tank and if so what antibiotic.. stil leaving the fish in QT for a couple of weeks to watch myslef for any issues longer if something pops up

BTW the fish in the video is the one that carried the desease into the tank it is not the fish i curently have in QT (in Qt is a red tail trigger)

If you're copper was at the proper level , without any interruption, for a month; then I'd treat with Prazi-Pro (a wormer) and put in the DT after two doses of PP and observing another week or so. Its almost impossible to know if fish have some internal bacteria or virus problems; but I think the other fish probably died from the parasites that were present.
