new fish in QT

I just purchased 2 percula clowns tank raised. They are in a 20 gallon QT that I seeded with ceramic pieces from my DT to introduce cacteria to my tank. I have a new filter running on the tank. The ceramic pieces I just dropped into my tank. I also added some PVC pipes so they can hide. My DT has been fallow for 12 weeks since an outbreak of ich/velvet wiped out my tank.

I am adding a toby puffer valentini in 2 days into my QT. Can I QT puffer / 2 clowns at the same time in the same tank?

How should I pro-actively treat them? Just watch and if they look fine add after 4 weeks? Treat with Prazipro or paraguard just to be safe?? They don't show signs of illness HOWEVER after 12 weeks being fallow I NEVER want ich / velvet again in my DT.

I don't know if that will be sufficient since I do not think they are porous. And I assume they were added after the fallow period?

note that the clock restarts if a fish is added

I always treat with Prazipro

I don't blame you; not a fun experience.
