New fish

Potters are very difficult to get to eat well in captivity. Make sure they are attacking the food, not just pecking. I have unsuccessfully kept them before, and I could get them to eat here and there, but not enough to keep them healthy. They always starved to death. But without a doubt, my favorite Centropyge.

i think the potters wrasse was 40 or 45 if i remember correctly, i could be wrong though

40 to 45 is an excellent price for a heathly Potters that is eating well.

The Potter's angels were 80 but they were BIG and FAT. If they were doing more than picking at the rock I would have snatched one up in an instant. I got there just as Dizzle was getting the last 2 Potter's wrasses bagged up. Dizzle you DOG!:blown:

They are very hard to keep. I have been very successful with other leopard species in the past. These were eating and looked very healthy at the store i.e. mouths not torn, not emaciated, no discolorations etc. I have been looking for healthy potters for two years and have done my research extensively on them. Suprised they are not out at all today.

I just talked to Faz and I think he is going to try to get another few of them.

Also he said we could come get some of the same food they were giving them.

Its doing good, its kind of weird it follows my fairy wrasse around every where.

Its not really eating real good so I am going to stop by ss to get some of there food.

One of mine has come out and is eating PE mysis and getting used to the tank. I am ordering Prazipro today to treat for internal parasites.

How is the leopard doing El Diablo? Both of mine were out today eating mysis soaked in voracity. They have also both eaten arcti pods.
