Hello, I bought a frag pack here on RC, and this was one of the corals I added to the pack. The name given is Tinkerbell Acropora. I am not necessarily looking for an ID, (although that would be nice) I am basically looking for its lighting requirements, and flow requirements for proper tank placement. My system consisits of a 125g aga tank, basement sump, Iwaki 100 return pump, and a sequence Dart CL. My lighting consists of three 175w 14k hamilton SE halides. I willl however, be upgrading to 250w halides soon, so I need to take this into consideration as well on the placement of the coral. Here is a pic, any information you may have will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

ok,... I give up... It is an acro,... a long fat stalk type,.. I guess I will just use the regular acro specs for it.. High light, high flow. Thanks to all those who looked.

Jason,

my experience with similar corals; medium to fast current, but not generally fussy, good light brings the best colour, otherwise they will brown quickly. Seem to respond very favourably to iodine supplements such as Potassium-Iodid-Fluorid (Korallen-Zucht).

As to the species, it is just too small. A wild guess is A. lovelli.
