new frag swap

Ok every one we need to get a new frag swap going becasue I like many of you have a crap load of frags to get rid of now what do you guys say

I would offer my store but I only have a small tank there. Lots of places to sit but not to many to put frags.

I have a kessil so it is relatively portable to show off coral. Its a furniture store so I have a few tables I have apple TV and an lcd there so it would be easy to put the images up. Also, it wouldn't be the least bit crowded and my delivery crew could set up couched in a way that we could all view in comfort

Its on kolb and Broadway and would have to take place after store hours. My daughter is having surgery on the first so it would need to be after that for me to host.

All we need is date I got a place if brets store dont work out I also have 6 bulb t5 fixture that we can set up and ill advertise on cragslist to get some more people. We can even do this at a house if we need to

Okay, I got things worked out.

How does Saturday, May 4th work for the new Frag Swap? We can start setting up at 11:00 and have the auction start at 12:00?

The place? In my retail center where SEA was going to open up their Eastside location. 5301 E. Speedway. There will be a new LFS opening up there. I can't promise how much the place will be stocked, however, there will be tanks full of water, lighting, etc.

I will ask one of my other Tenants, Something Sweet Desert Lounge - to provide sandwiches and deserts for everyone to eat.

Damn I wanna go just to see the local tucson group and meet some people!!! I have to go play with life sized TONKA TRUCKS with my dad and his friend on the 4th at noon! But I really think TUcson needs a stronger club seen with monthly meetings or frag swaps or just a get together. I wish I was around more I would totally set this up. I do it in Florida now with FMAS its pretty freaking awesome! They gave a way a Purple tang last month and I know they raffled off a regal angelfish one month too! But thats Florida a huge huge huge SW community out there. But Tucson we can compete!!!

Also I think Tucson should do a Parade of Tanks!!! I know lots of people would die to see Dan's tank and some of the other large tanks out here in the southwest! They do it in Phoenix and Florida.... I volunteered everyone to see my 5 gal pico when i get back its gonna be crowded!
