I know you're all picture junkies.. So here's a couple of the new frag tank. They didn't turn out that great, so deal with it :)

Frag Tank. It's a 50 gal rubbermaid stock tank. I have a Seio 2600 in there as well as probably 500 gph from my drain. There is a 400w XM 10k bulb over the tank.

This stuff is the Carib Sea Reef Bones. I picked up 80#'s of it from Byerleys.

Finally, GEO you'll be happy. I turned around the reactor :D
I switched to the generic Gen-X media Premium Aquatics carries. I had a hair algae break out and couldn't figure out where it was coming from.. Ends up it was coming from the crushed coral i was using in my reactor. This media seems to work well, it just uses up more co2 than the crushed coral did.

Hollback, where did you get the black covering for your cryptic fuge? We know someone that works at a sign shop that can get it right? :) Now that I've got the frag tank in there I need to black out the fuge or it's going to be come an algae mess.

Lookin' Clean(er)

Drinking wine while doing aquarium work I see. You're such a reef snobb! :p Yeah, I had "a friend" black vinyl 3 sides of my cryptic tank and had a piece of coraplast cut as the front removable pannel with sticky-back black velcro.

How do you like the 2600?

Did you get that order in?

LOL  I didn't see that the first time around... I did see the empty bowl... Good eye ;)

Hehe.. I actually ran out of beer and booze, so I went for the next best thing! I'm typically not a wine drinker, I just had the bottle in the house and wanted to get a little buzz on while I worked :)

You know.. Up until now humidity wasn't much of a problem.. I have a dehumidifier but it's just too much of an energy hog. I need to get a new window fan (had one in there that burnt up) to just exhaust everything outside. In the past few days I've noticed an increased amount of humdity down stairs, something I've gotta take care of pretty soon.

Mark,

Did you add a vent to the cold air intake to your air conditioner? I saw you posting in this thread and was wondering if it helped. I too will be concerned with humidity adding about 150 gallons to my basement.

Rob what's the Magnum being used for?
BTW love the dog, is she full blooded? I've got a male and female Golden :D

I run carbon through it every once and a while. When I add a new piece of equipment I like to run carbon just to be safe. Mainly because I don't wait that long for PVC glue to dry, maybe 30-60 minutes tops. It's just an added percaution I like to take.

That and I'm about to do a big flatworm exit treatment so I'll be running a bunch of carbon to clean that stuff up.

Yup, Marlieh is full blooded she comes from a great family tree. She's a little over a year old.

rob could you show us a picture of your display tank i dont think i have ever seen it? also now that you mentioned carbon your on the list to come pick some up but i havent heard from you did you pick up from larry?
