New frags turning white

So I have a birds nest that I fragged and the frag is turning wihite what would cause this I put it in same spot as the other that is doing fine so any help please

It sounds like it is bleaching. Did you try to light acclimate it properly? I would move it down to the sandbed. Do you have any pictures of the frag?
