good news!thanks jrsy, i appreciate it!Looks fine to me.. nice Frogspawn
In the 2nd pic, it looks like the 2 heads on the right have some skeleton exposed. Was it like that when you bought it? I ask only because the heads on the left look great. And if the heads on the right are peeling back due to the flow I think it might be a little strong. Don't know how likely it is the flow since only the 2 heads on the right appear to be affected, but thought I would ask just to be safe.

should i attempt to feed it once i see some feeders?thanks again!
You can give it mysis if it will take it. We feed all of our hammer, torch and frogspawn mysis about 2-3 times a week (hence why over half our tank is all LPS)...you can pretty much tell right away if it is going to eat, the tentacles will grab onto it.
most of mine do....I use tweezers and feed with mysis...if they grab on I watch for a few minutes to make sure they are truly taking it. They don't always feed 100% of the time, but most times they do. I've been fragging twice a month and selling hammer and frogspawn to keep it under control. Now we're going to upgrade to a 125 and just let it grow itself out.
You can give it a try... but in my experience (and that of many others)... Euphilia sp. dont tend to exhibit much feeding response...
I like to spot-feed my corals.. and I have had success feeding many different types... but not my Froggy or Torch...
Phytoplankton is said to be wrong.. they are not filter-feeders... zooplankton might work... but they seem to show no response to it... Meaty foods such as shrimp or silverside.... just seem to float off after awhile..
This has been my experience anyway...
That having been said... Feel free to give it a go! Just be sure to remove anything they reject, so as not to foul your water unnecessarily..
Good Luck!![]()
Should be fine then! Latest pic looks good, polyps don't appear to be bent all the way down as it did in the 2nd pic.
