New GBTA

After losing my GBTA, I've been wanting to get another one. I cant think of any other reason for his demise other than my maroon clown being too rough on him. Now that my maroon clown is in another tank, I thought I'd give it another try.

He settled on a rock that has a colony of pulsing Xenias (shown just below the nem). WOuld this GBTA have any problems? I could care less about the Xenias because they are overpopulating my tank.

My best educated guess is no. The anemone should clear the Xenia out of the way. How big was your last GBTA and the maroon you had?

Last GBTA was about 4 inches and the maroon about 3.5 inches. This one is easily 6 - 7 inches across when fully opened.

Thanks savage. I'll try to take a photo without actinics later. It found a new spot and wrapped itself nicely around a rock.

Well thats's why. The size ratio of your maroon and anemone was too close for it to work. Maroons are notorious for "loving" their anemone too much.
