Any one looking for new business ??

But the compressed air we already put in tires is 78% nitrogen. I'm surprised that the little percentage difference would have that much effect.

I agree with Fade, nothing too it. Hey fade, how long have you been a toyo tech? My company is a division of Southeast Toyota.

costco has been filling tires with nitrogen for at least a year...
sooo they aren't the only place you can get it.

Compressed air is made up of 78% nitrogen .So if you want to spend 24.95 for nitrogen filled tires go for it .

Fade your a toyota tech ?

Sure am.

THE IDEA WITH NITROGEN IN TIRES IS BASED ON THE FACT THAT NITROGEN DOESN'T EXPAND WITH HEAT.YOU AIR YOUR TIRES UPTO 35PSI COLD AND WHEN YOU DRIVE DOWN THE ROAD THE HEAT GENERATED DOESN'T CAUSE THE PRESSURE TO INCREASE.tHE ONLY REAL BENEFIT FOR IT IS RACE CAR TIRES WHERE YOU ADJUST THE TIRE PSI FOR HANDELING AND WANT IT TO STAY THERE. sorry about the caps.

i hate to tell you all this, but my uncle is in the buisness and they just use almost regular air and call it Nitrogen. the difference cannot be known unless you are a pro.

its just a way to make more $$

They have been using nitrogen in aircraft tires for years( as far as the Air Force goes). Nitrogen is also drier and will not corrode the insides of your rims.
