I just bought it today and placed it on some rock it moved just a little but it moved down in b/n some rocks. Its pretty small w/ a base of maybe 2.5" Will it be ok stuck in b/n the rocks, can it get out if it wants to? The tenticles are sticking out so they will be exposed to light but the base is in pretty deep.

also should I feed the anenome anything if the clowns don't take to it? I have three tank breed peculeras so not sure if they know what they are supposed to do.

right now I have my 3 mh's on for a little over four hours each overlapping, is this enough or should I turn them on more? My T5-s are down right now, waiting on the wiring harness to be fixed by icecap.

thanks

In my short experience with BTA's, they will move where they want to be at. I would suspect that it is a little stressed and will come out in a couple days. As far as food, some mysis would be a good start. You say you have 3 percs? If they start hosting in it, make sure they do stress it out even more. I have a BTA that I'm having to really baby cause my maroon loved on it a little too much since it was a small anemone. Post a pic of it if you get a chance. I always enjoy seeing these little guys.

thanks, I'll post a pic soon. The perc's are captive born so I'm hoping that they know what an anemone is, the LFS says some do some don't. So the BTA's don't always like to host? or they just don't like too much attention?

now the BTA is underneath a rock hanging down, I guess maybe when the lights come on it will come around to the otherside to face the lights?

Its tenticles look pretty nice I think, they are fat and a decent length, is this normal w/ no lights on?
