New Gumdrop Coral Croucher Pair

they definitely need spot feeding, as they never venture out for food too far from their hiding spot. It's great seeing these guys scoot backwards. I've never seen fish flap backwards before I had these.

I kept one successfully for a year, then just withered. I had to keep him in a breeder net the whole time to keep him fed though. They'd do well in a smallish display refugium I'd think.

They are in a 29g biocube so they can never get out of range of the turkey baster. But yeah they basically just sit there all day.

Sorry to hear that, bongo. hopefully, the other one will do well for you. thanks for sharing your experiences with these super cool little fishies.

Thanks, as long I have the one, I'm not done sharing my experience!

The one left is about an inch and a half. The one that didn't make it was an inch and three quarters.

not to be a mister negative, but from most of my experiences with mated pairs usually when a partner dies the fish will go into a sort of depression state and slowly start refuseing to eat and waste away, i hope that yours pulls through, such cool animals. allways wanted a pair myself, good luck
