New guy to the forums and hobby

Can't believe I just found this. Really wish I would have a long time ago. My name is Jeff and I'm from Washington. Which makes the closest LFS about 45 mins away. Luckily I work it St. Peter's so it's not too bad.

Well I am fairly new to saltwater. I have a 75 gallon bow front with a 30 gallon sump. It's be up for about three months now. Bought a few fish (one fox face and 2 clowns) got ICH within days. So they are currently in QT. I went a little crazy buying coral I didn't know much about so been reading these forums trying to figure it all out.

I really hope to make it to an event soon, to join up. I see I just missed one last week.
Looks like a good group here I'm excited to meet you all.

Welcome aboard, Jeff. Post some pics of your setup or this crowd will turn on you - we aren't the most literate group so pictures keeps our interest.

Try and make it to the November pizza night and introduce yourself.

Welcome to the addiction and the forums. Hope you can make an event and meet some of the group. Great group of people in SLASH. Lots of knowledge and plenty of people willing to help. (and BS but that is the fun part) Never hesitate to ask if you need help.:fish1:

I thought I had more. I'd turn on the lights and take a pic now but I think my wife would kill me (she's currently rocking the baby to sleep next to it).

I just bought a bunch without researching I now back tracking. But all the corals I have seem healthy.

Haha I just noticed the controller. It's primarily a DVD and Netflix player now anyways.

As far as the set up, I got it used. It runs an unknown pump rated around 750gph. A 125 gallon skimmer, not the best. I have 3 cheap power heads running. 90ish lbs of rock between the tank and sump. Handful of coral. Basically want a mixed reef with a 5-6 fish.
