New guy with 14G Biocube

Well I finally have a dedicated salt water tank. I picked up a 14G biocube from a friend over the weekend. It has an upgraded pump, upgraded LED lighting and another hydor power unit for increased circulation.

I am planning on picking up a bag of live sand and some water from the LFS store tonight and get it cycling.

I will take some pictures of the setup tonight.

Nice, you are smart to get the upgraded components, I had a 29G biocube and the PC lights were not very good for anything other than softies and the pump was no where near enough, good luck on this adventure

Nice tank. +1 on getting a new light for it. Also, because of the size, small changes will provide big results. Water chemistry in a small tank is king. Constant monitoring of your numbers and small changes will keep things right.
