New H. Mag.

If I do place the gig in the nano it would only reside there for a month max. My 93 cube will be in tomorrow and once it is set up I will transfer him there. I did put rock in the sump for him. I was just saying that the refugium section of the sump was empty. Yes I am positive it is a Gig. Spots on the column with a blue foot.

Sweet! He looks good, it was just hard to tell from the pic. During the month I would do small frequent water changes. I kept my carpets in a 30 for 3 weeks while I moved and they were fine.
Have you thought about a different clown species maybe when you set up the new tank?? Clarki or skunk would be more likely to host all 3. :beachbum:

Well, the reason I picked up the H. Mag and the Gig was to have something for the percs that I had in already the nano. I did not really want to put an anemone in the nanocube due to size requirments. I had planned on getting the 70 cube for an anemone tank, but got a good deal on the 93 cube. If I was going to keep the LTA he would have stayed in the 40 bdr with the maroons.

Thanks. Looks like I might need it. I took him out of the sump this morning and placed him in the 28 gal. nano. He was fine until the lights came on. I did not even put the sunpod on it. 105 w of compacts for 2 mins. and he detached:-( (I keep the tanks at the same parameters but acclimated a little anyway) So at this point I have placed him back into the sump where I have placed the sunpod. I did not try to feed today and I think I will wait until tomorrow. I might turn the sunpod on for 2 hrs. and watch him tomorrow as well.

Todays update. He looks better in the sump today and ate two small slivers of raw shrimp. Feeding response was slow, took him almost 10 mins. to ingest it after it hit the tentacles. I put the supod off to the side a little bit and will center it over him gradually over the next week as I watch him.
