New hammer coral

I just bought my first coral today which is a green hammer coral about and inch or so big. It too kind about two hours to open up and it seems to be doing fine. Should I lower my light period so it can get used to my lights? Or should my 10 hours be fine. Thanks!

ive added 3 hammers and a frogspawn recently, all I do is stick them on the sand bed and leave lighting as it is. I do make sure they are in the correct flow areas but other than that they settle in quickly.

my lighting currently is made by elive. they are LED pods and my PAR intensity is around 55 currently. I have my lights on for 10 hours with a 15 min ramp up/down.

55 seems fairly low i would say if anything theyll want more light but im new to lps myself

From what I understand PAR intensity is different than PAR. Update: hammer coral is open and looks great. I just picked up A frogspawn and he seems to be adapting nicely
