I am so upset. I had a very peaceful reef tank with 2 clowns, 2 banggais, a foxface, and a Henioochis D. butterfly co-existing with my corals corals. Unfortunately I decided to add another Heniochus D. to the tank. Within a day after adding the new Hennie to the tank I noticed him picking at the algae and a few of the corals, most especially the Bubble. I first thought I had a acuminatus by mistake but after reading and looking and reading and looking some more I decided it really was a Diphreutes. While I loved the new fish I decided to take him back to the store as I want a reef tank. By the end of the day I see the other Butterfly and the foxface attacking the Bubble coral to the point it is now destroyed. These guys never pecked at anything but the food I gave them in the past.
Any recommendations at this point to regain control of my reef tank?
