New Home Design?

Currently I have two SW tanks (both fish w/ LR), one 36 (2 damsels, 1 clownfish) one 55 gal (2 clownfish, 3 chromis, 1 dottyback?) that I've had for 5 years now. Both just have the very basic hanging on the back filters and I manually change the water using buckets (probably happens less frequently than it should). We are planning on building a house in the next few years and I would like to go much larger with a filtration set up in a separate room. I know nothing about this! Is larger easier once it's set up? What are some good resources and threads I should look at to learn more for planning? TIA

Larger is more stable than smaller. Easier depends on your expectations. Certainly automation becomes a better proposition cost-wise with a larger tank as regards maintenance.

There is far too much info you need to get from reading simple, unsupported threads or magazine articles. You need to start reading some books. The most current that I have seen are the ebooks from Mr. Saltwater Tank.
