New home for my hippo tangs. Any takers?

I've had a pair of hippo tangs since they were about an inch in size in a 65 gallon tank.

I knew the day would come when I would have to upgrade them to a bigger tank that I setup or or place them in a better (bigger) home.

I am way too attached to these guys to sell them and make a buck off of them to just any inexperienced n00b, although we all started there, I'd like to give these little guys a shot at continuing a good life.

Currently, they are about 5 to 6 inches in length, I've been told that they look very well fed.

In return I ask that you are local, (Southern California - my zip is 90660) have an appropriate size tank for this species, and a promise that you will take good care of them.

Tell me a little bit about your setup, how long your tank has been running, etc. They are ready to be picked up and moved to their new home.

Oscar,

I have a 180 gallon in Irvine. My tank has LPS and a few SPS frags. The tank consists of kaelini and tonga branch rock. My tank has two bluejaw triggers, chromis and two clowns.

Too bad your so far away they would be a great addition to my tank, hope you find a good home for them.

Thanks Crazy One, I hope so too. I love these little guys and if it wasn't for my recent urge to increase my savings in preparation of a home purchase, I probably would be giving myself a 180 gallon upgrade this Xmas and a better home for this little guys.

Oscar,

Sent you a PM, let me know if you want me to help out. As for my fish, I feed Hikari mysis and Marine S & A.

Crsandoval,

Do you have any pictures of your tank? How long has it been up and running? I'd love to see. Irvine is a bit of a drive, 45 minutes I would guess in decent, clear traffic, but you're more than welcome to drive down here.

Don't know much about Triggers and Hippo Tang compatibility, but with such a lightly stocked tank, I think everything would be fine. Keep in touch and let's see if we can set something up.

Thanks for your interested in my little guys. If it works out, I'm sure they will be a fun addition to your tank. They are very social and fun to watch.

I have had this system since February of this year. I upgraded from a 135 that I had since 2004. As for the drive, I am a die hard Dodger fan, driving to LA is not a drag at all. PM me your email address and I can send you photos.
