well we found a house and we all know what that means... a bigger tank!!!!!

so ive decided that the biggest possible tank will be a 8' 240g. im going to work on doing it in wall though i really dont have an extra room so its going into the dining room. ill then put up a false wall and place everything underneath. im going to be asking for a lot of opinions and i know i can count on you guys for that.

most of the details are inspired by steve weast, jbny and ralfp from rc, and various other tanks ive seen over the years.

im ordering the tank this weekend and we move in at the end of october

ok after speaking to a few fellow reefers, ive decided i needed to expand the depth (front-back) to 30". so with that ive changed the demensions to 84"x30"x24". i had to cut the length down for cost reasons. my tangs will still be happy.

ive also changed the overflows to 12"x6" to help with flow. im not positive on this move. any suggestions?

one last change is the skimmer is now the mrc mr3r.

well we thought it over and we've decided to go in a slightly different direction. the dining room is just too small so we are going to make it in wall off the living room. we are going to demo 95% of the bathroom and turn that into a tank room. with the space i think we might be changing demensions again. maybe a 6x3x2. less light required. still same equipment except the skimmer. updating that later. more info when i can get back into the house and tank more measurements. thursday i believe.
